Need to keep this post open for logistical reasons.  If you're not familiar with Yuletide, please ignore.  These aren't the droids you're looking for >.>

So lately whenever I post a comment on a friend's journal, my default icon always shows up (regardless of what I've actually chosen).

Does anyone know what the problem might be?

Ignore this if you don't know anything about Takarazuka ^^;

So I'm using Excel.  I want to have an option where the user can click on the box, and then check off multiple options.  (Just having a pull-down menu only allows you to choose one option)

Any ideas, oh wise friends list???  This is way over my head.

Dear Mailbox,

Today you have once again failed me.  We are not pleased.

No love,

It's always a little weird watching revues in their touring/Chunichi/etc. versions.  I like how lower ranked people get bigger parts, but it's hard for the troupe not to feel like it's at half power simply because of it being cut in half number-wise.

My thoughts under the cut )

To be completely honest, for all that I am excited that Kiriyan has become top, she hasn't become top of the troupe that I fell in love with three years ago.  There are still people I love in tsukigumi, but the truth is I still feel the loss of many people I love (Eri-san, Sueko, Taki-san, Mihoko, Yuuhi, Ai-chan, etc).

At the same time I've waited a while for Kiriyan to be top, and I *want* to like her tsukigumi.  I don't want to be so caught up in retirements and politics that I can't enjoy things any more.

Anyway, I still have Yukariko to watch, and I plan on buying Scarlet Pimpernel when it comes out <3

So according to Ai-chan's blog, she's moving to Tokyo.  (If I remember right, up until now she's been sharing an apartment with her older sister in Kansai).

It also looks like she'll be doing (what I think is a) workshop or something along those lines of a new dinner show.  (Wrong country-itis, wrong country-itis T_________________T) I'm under the impression that Tokyo is much more of the center of the entertainment industry than the Kansai area, so here's hoping that this all means that Ai-chan will continue her stage career.

Regardless, I'm just glad to see her posting so much <3

So I'd like to get back into the habit of Live Journal-ing about personal stuff.  I do have [livejournal.com profile] cherrytop, my RL journal for this, but I've found that it's really hard to keep up with more than one journal and I don't use it much these days.  I've been thinking about leaving [livejournal.com profile] cherrytop as an archive and writing about both Zuka and real life stuff here.

The only problem is that while some people on my [livejournal.com profile] muffin_song friends list also follow [livejournal.com profile] cherrytop , the reverse isn't true, and I don't want to bore my college friends and so on with Zuka babbling.  So I would have to make [livejournal.com profile] muffin_song friends only and filter the entries into personal and Takarazuka.

I'm not sure how I feel about moving to friends only.  On one hand, more and more of my entries these days are friends only (I don't want to publicly post anything that could link me back to my fan club affiliation).  But going back to the other hand once again, I don't like accusations of elitism in the Zuka fandom, and if I made a friends only journal I would worry I was going in that direction.

I suppose I could just accept the friends request of everyone who asks and then filter my journal according to how well I know them.  *sigh* I'm feeling like a snob already.  And yet I feel uncomfortable with letting people I don't really know read about things I consider private.

For people who have done this before, any suggestions?

1) The next "Juri no Yappari Go Go 5" will have Tomu, Mii-chan, and Chii-chan ♥

2) The 14th Isobella Salon concert will feature ♥♥♥ Sakura Ichika ♥♥♥  Unfortunately I don't follow hanagumi much these days, but it still makes me happy to see a skilled upperclassman musumeyaku get some attention ♥

Now can we please just get a release date for the Shangri-La DVD? :P

That is all ♥

I like it.  Very Masatsuka-esque with the costumes of course, but even more stylish than usual.

In other news, I'm still alive (really).

I'm trying to make a list of siennes who are currently spokesgirls/image girls/whatever for various companies.  This is what I have so far:

Yuzuki Reon-GeoTower (an apartment complex company)

Otozuki Kei-Visa Japan

Hokushou Kairi-Kaminomoto (haircare company)

Nono Sumika-Ikeda Bank

I feel like I'm missing a lot of people.  Of the current siennes, who else needs to be added?  (I'd be tempted to make an OG list, but that seems significantly harder -_-;)

Also, did Palace Weddings ever get a replacement musumeyaku image girl after Mihoko retired?

Trafalgar

So the Trafalgar poster is up on the Hankyu website.  Needless to say I'm thrilled that Micchan made it onto this one, given that the last time she was on a Daigekijou poster was Paradise Prince.  More than that, everyone looks very good and I'm pleased with the poster design.

We already know that Yuuhi will be playing Nelson and Sumika will be playing Emma.  What I'm not sure about is Tomu and Micchan.  Tomu is behind the French flag, so does that mean that she's supposed to be Napoleon?  And given that William Hamilton (Emma's husband) is a British diplomat and Micchan isn't in military costume, will Micchan be playing Hamilton?

I'm hoping this is the case.  Napoleon would be a change for pace for Tomu, who seems to be getting a lot of jilted husband/lover/etc. roles lately.  And according to the summary Hamilton quickly grows jealous of Nelson and starts sending him into dangerous battle after dangerous battle.  If this means I'll finally get my villainous Micchan, I'm be very pleased <3

Shangri-La has finally started, and Asahi was kind enough to provide me with many, many images to obsess over <3

Not that this is very surprising, but Kiriyan gave Yumiko the douki flowers at Yumiko's sayonara show.

If that's not cute, I don't know what is <3

What's the term used by Takarazuka fans for a named role?  Like a role that shows up in the cast lists, as opposed to just
appearing in the background and not having any lines.  For that matter, what's the commonly used term for "the background"?  I could try to find something in my dictionary, but I was wondering if there were commonly used phrases for both of these.
