So. About "Mind Traveller"

Does anyone know anything about this show, or if it's any good?  I get paid on Thursday and I'm trying to decide what I want to buy.  I'm interested in seeing Un-chan in a lead role, plus I'm trying to branch out into non-tsuki shows.  Tsuki is obviously my favorite troupe, but I feel like it wouldn't hurt to see what else is out there in Zukaland.  Right now my list of shows that I own is rather uh...tsuki dominated.  Not that I'm giving up on them, of course.  I already have the Yamato Yuuga boxset with Twelth Night and Cinderella Rock reserved for late July :D

I think I'm also going to get the Kiriyan BeruBara digest.  It has the advantage (in terms of branching out) of not actually being tsuki while still containing Kiriyan ^_^.  Can you watch a BeruBara digest without having seen the entire show before?  I have seen a little bit of the BeruBara anime and I'm familiar with the premise of the story.  I am interested in seeing all of BeruBara, but alas Grand Theater shows are expensive.  And the 2001 hoshi version (which I've heard is the best all-around) I vaguely remember being especially expensive due to some extra material or something.

Of course, it's rather sad that I still haven't watched my copy of soragumi's Phantom yet.  I don't know what it is, but I really like to be in the right mood when I watch a show.  It took me about a month of having the DVD to watch yukigumi's Nova Bossa Nova, which I finally sat dawn and watched last night.  That one was fun.  TIP is awesome :D

Yes, the 2001 Hoshi Berubara has a bonus disc with Berubara Memorandum excerpts and Juri-pyon and Wataru-kun's Andre digests. Raises the price to 12,600, if I remember rightly. But it's by far the best version. :)

As for Mind Traveller... I wish I knew!

Oooh, shiny! I like it when there are extras, but at the same time I get annoyed with the Hankyu idea of "charge more for extras" rather than the western philosophy of putting extras on the disc as a way to get you to pay for the regular price. Ah well.

I've been forced to conclude that it hardly matters what they charge. We'll buy the stuff anyway. We've got no choice.

I couldn't help noticing that you don't own Datenshi no Namida... or Aoi Tori wo Sagashite... I highly highly highly recommend the former. Aoi Tori is really adorable too, but it's the dance revue Takarazuka Dream Kingdom that comes with it that is so worth it!

I'm curious about Mind Traveller, too. Ever since I watched Hanagumi's Phantom (which was yesterday) I've been an Un-chan fan! ^^

Interestingly enough "Aoi tori wo sagashite" was the first piece of Zuka I ever saw. Granted it was only a very small clip in an honors presentation I went to, but technically it was the first.

Alas, too many DVDs, not enough money. Then again, I'd be sad if I ever got to the end of Zuka things I wanted to buy.

Your lack of Hoshigumi makes me want to cry. I'm bringing a Hoshigumi Care Package for you with me to Tokyo, and that's final, you hear.

Oh noes, you're going to give me a Hoshigumi Care Package? What ever shall I do? :D

I need to e-mail you about meeting up next week. Originally I had said Sunday, but I had forgotten that I already have plans that day >_< Would you want to do either Monday or Tuesday? I just went back and looked at the schedule you posted a while back and it looks like you're seeing the evening show on Tuesday, and unfortunately I probably couldn't get there until 5:45 or 6ish. It would be kind of cool to see the show again but I'm not sure if I want to make a trip all the way out to Tokyo and then not be guaranteed a ticket. So maybe we could do something Monday evening? In any case, yeah, I'll e-mail you instead of babbling here.

I like Mind Traveller a lot, but I'm probably not entirely objective when it comes to Matobu Sei :-) I wrote some sort of (picture) review of the show here:

Be warned of spoilers though.

Oooh, thank you! Right now it's coming down to Mind Traveller vs. Oklahoma.

You mean between even more Tsuki or not ;-)
