Soragumi's next Daigekijou show will be Trafalgar/Funky Sunshine.  Trafalgar is about Horatio Nelson.  From my Wikipedia research since the announcement went up (yay for history through Zuka? ^^;;;), it appears that he was a British naval officer who was famous for leading England to victory in a battle where he was killed.  He also had a scandalous affair with a woman named Emma Nelson (both were married to other people at the time).  Trafalgar is the name of the battle where he was killed.  After El Halcon, I'm amused that Saitou-sensei is returning to the topic of the various European navies again XD

Funky Sunshine will apparently have (shock!) sun-related things as its theme.  Personally I'm just looking forward to the soragumisei saying "Funky Sunshine!" over and over XD

 

This one seems like it could go either way, but I'm definitely interested <3  Does it sound strange if I say I'm relieved that this isn't an instant "OH MY GOD I MUST SEE THIS" show? ^^; I'm also uncertain as to whether or not Micchan would potentially be transferred out befre this show.  Well, no matter what, it appears that there will be Yuuhi and Tomu fighting over the same woman again <3

Oh, and Mizu's sayonara show was announced too (what would be the correct romanization of ロジェ?  Because that's the show's name, apparently).  And what is it with Masatsuka-sensei and sayonara shows lately? ^^;  The revue is called "Rock On", which is also highly amusing <3

I thought the wife was Emma Nelson. Which I thought made her husband the Admiral. Either way, should be hilarious. I mean, Horatio Nelson is heroic in a very melodramatic doomed way, but still.

No, no. The wife was Lady Fanny Nelson. She doesn't signify.

I presume Sumika will be playing Lady Hamilton.

And if Tomu is her husband, Sir William Hamilton... Well, muffin_song, it's not quite accurate to call him the "jilted husband". They actually got on quite well, so Nelson just moved in.

Horatio Nelson! Horatio Nelson was one of my heroes. Napoleon never was able to beat the man any time they faced off, and Trafalgar was what I'm sure everyone thought would be Napoleon's one great iconic defeat until, well, that other battle happened.

BLEP BLEEP IT, HANKYU, I'M BROKE RIGHT NOW. I cannot drool over this show when it comes out if I am BROKE.

... Well, I can console myself with the fact that Yuuhi, much as I love her, is not how my mind's eye pictures Horatio Nelson.

hmmm, I might be wrong, but romanized, I would write it "roze". It could be German "Rose" or French "rosé", one meaning "rose" as flower and the other meaning "light pink"

EEEH! Nelson is fricking hardcore! One of my favourite tales of him is when one of his lower officers advised that they should retreat from greater numbers and Nelson held up his telescope to his blind eye and said coolly "I see no ships" :D

I totally had a dream about a rock-based revue called Rock On. I'm shocked that they are actually making this one! (to be fair, in my dream, it was a hoshigumi performance XD)

Funky Sunshine. Ha, that's adorable! And it looks like it'll be completely opposed to the play, which sounds rather dramatic. This should be interesting to watch! XD
