matataku_hoshi: (Kiriyan "just a little crazy")

relieving news (take two)

I accidentally hit a wrong button and deleted all of what I had written.  So this is the somewhat shorter version: Kiriyan has been announced as being in Arex, tsukigumi's upcoming Theater Drama City show.  Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that means with rehearsal schedules and everything that she's going to be staying in tsuki for the time being.  The same goes for Yuuhi, who will be having a Bow Hall at the same time.  Yes, I know you all told me that Hankyu probably wouldn't move her, but Hankyu isn't always logical and I was worried.  It's not that I didn't want Kiriyan to be top star, it's that I was really worried that if they made her the next top star of hana that she was going to go the way of Kashige.  And in my very biased opinion, she deserves a lot more than that.

Hopefully what will happen is that Asa will (sadly) retire sometime in the next few years and Kiriyan will take over.  I suppose there's still a chance of Yuuhi taking over for a while.  Unfortunately now it's back to worrying about if Kiriyan will ever be promoted to top star due to illness.  I try to tell myself that it's not worth worrying about since I'm not a doctor, I don't have her medical records, and therefore have no idea what's going on there.  Besides, she hasn't missed a show since Bridge of Smiles, Bridge of Tears all the way back in 2003.  I guess having Finch is a good luck charm.  (I read that she bought him during the period that she was sick to cheer herself up).

In any case, with Kiriyan and Yuuhi out of the way, that leaves Yumiko and Un-chan as the candidates for Osa's replacement.  Given that Yumiko just got transferred to yukigumi, Un-chan seems the more logical choice.  I suppose that if she gets promoted then Sou Kazuho and Aine Harei will be bumped up?  (Assuming they don't bring anyone new in to do the nibante and sanbante roles).

*lets deep breath out* Whew.
.

Oh, shuffling...

You're probably right with the Kashi-phenomenon. :(
If Kiriyan makes top I'm sure it'll be Moon. It looks a bit like Yuuhi has been passed over. :( But considering that I can't really imagine Yuuhi anywhere else than in Takarazuka, I kinda still hope she's in for the long run. :) (Or neither Yuuhi nor Kiriyan will make top, but Asako will stay for a long time, Yuuhi and Kiriyan can both continue to have their own shows, and Asako and Mihoko have more time to get married even closer better shows and show how much they belong together.)

I found Lucia's arguments quite reasonable why Un-chan is the most likely Osa-successor. :)

And Sou... I grew quite fond of her during my many re-views of Datenshi and Tarantella. I'd be very, very happy to see more of her. :D

Well, Yuuhi does apparently have a very large fan base. And they're giving her a Bow Hall this spring, so I don't think they've completely forgotten about her. Not totally sure what they're going to do with her either, though.

I do like the current configuration of tsukigumi, though, and I'd be sad to see Asa and Mihoko retire. It a strange way it makes me feel better to know that these things are not in my control -_-;

That sounds good <3
And it relieves me, because I think Kiriyan belongs into Tsukigumi and nowhere else.
I hope so much, that Kiriyan and Tani manage to become Top Stars at the same time (secret Tani/Kiriyan fan here :DDD)

They could be the new Asa and Osa :D

Oooh, that's good news with Kiriyan. I think that'll make a lot of people happy. :)

Yes, definitely. As Lucia said the other day, this is a position that both hana and tsuki fans seem to agree on.

Excellent; you can now relax through next February and, er, enjoy the show. ^_^; (Cracky as said show sounds...)
I would think they wouldn't start piling on the transfers again... the last time they did it in 2006, it looked more like massive damage control. Poor Kashige/Rui.

At this point if Kiriyan hasn't moved, I don't think she's going to move for the rest of her career. (Please God, don't jinx me by saying this -_-;). It wouldn't really make sense for them to move her to be the nibante of any other troupe. She's not taking over Osa's spot, and top star spots probably aren't going to open up in sora, yuki, and hoshi for several years. So I think at this point she's going to either a) retire as nibante or b) become the next top star of tsuki. Obviously I'm rooting for the latter.

Whew, sorry, didn't mean to get all rambly -_-; And yes, poor Kashige and Rui. I was really quite fond of both of them.
