Help.

I am close to making a technological breakthrough, except...I can't get Power DVD 6 to connect to the internet so that I I can get a patch to go through.  I have Windows Vista (be quiet, you :P).  As far as I'm aware Windows Firewall is turned off.  Why is it then that whenever I open the Configure option, the left hand screen shows the message one usually gets for Internet Explorer when it's not connected?  I do have Internet Explorer, it's just not my primary web browser.  Do I need to make it my primary web browser?  Aaagh.  So close.

In other news, that meme has guilted me into sitting down and watching the 70s version of Valencia no Atsui Hana all the way through.
