Gen's Fluffy Bunny Meme
Nov. 19th, 2009 11:08 amGen's Fluffy Bunny Meme!
Step 1: Find the most ridiculous, adorable picture of a cute animal you can. Post it below (Linking back to the original page is always polite...) Leave this picture above any LJ cut. The point of this meme is ridiculous cheerfulness. For example:

Next, answer these crucial, life-altering questions:
( La la la I am a sheep... )

The Swine Flu Meme
Sep. 30th, 2009 10:51 pmThis managed to distract me from the lack of Casablanca casting announcements for not nearly long enough :P
Put the name of someone on your friendslist as the answer to each question. Don't tell anyone the questions unless they agree to re-post the meme.

Parts of this are accurate, other parts aren't. The problem is that 1) people like Asako and Tani were in a lot of the same shows as other people and thus are overrepresented, and 2) The last year has really thrown things off. Meaning when I'm not in Japan and can only keep up with a very limited amount of material, I just don't have as much to say about a lot of people who I still really love. *shrug* Anyway, that was a fun waste of ten minutes XD
In other news, the "All of Me" poster is miiiiiiiiine. For 3600 yen. It started at 2500 yen, and I was willing to bid up to 5000. I don't even want to think about how much it's going to come to after I add in Crescent Shop fees and shipping, but this was probably my only chance to get it and it's miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine ;)

That interview meme
Feb. 21st, 2009 05:17 pm1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me!"
2. I will respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
3. You will post the answers to the questions (and the questions themselves) on your blog or journal.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions. And thus the endless cycle of the meme goes on and on and on and on...

The 2008 Kangeki-ing meme

I'm listing all shows in the month that I started seeing them. Figuring out exactly in which month I saw a 6-week Daigekijou show exactly how many times would be too confusing :P
( I still can't believe I sat through Reimei no Kaze four times )

The 2008 meme
Dec. 31st, 2008 02:05 amOkay, so obviously very few of us have seen EVERYTHING performed in 2008, either live or on DVD. But I thought this would be fun anyway, so just answer with what you’ve actually seen (either live or on DVD) or you’ve seen enough clips of that you decided to vouch for anyway.
For purposes of this meme, "A-'R'ex", "Hollywood Lover", “El Halcon/Revue Orchis”, and "Maihime" started in 2007 and therefore don’t count. “Yume no Ukihashi/Appasionado” and “Brothers Karamazov” started in 2008 and do count.
All of the BeruBara side stories count as new shows. "Great Gatsby" counts as a revival.
( Onto the meme... )
Happiness meme (day 8 of 8)
Dec. 19th, 2008 01:55 amI spent most of the day lounging around at home. I think after a few days I'll get bored of this, but for the moment it's very nice. There's supposed to be a big storm tomorrow so the parental unit and I are planning on making holiday cookies.
I also spent a while chatting on Skype with
wao_wao and
kirakira_sora tonight, which was nice <3
In Zuka related happiness, that new yukigumi preview image is...well, I'm sure you know by now. Tsukigumi is still my favorite kumi. After that, I think it's a tie between yuki and sora. I switch back and forth depending on who I've seen most recently.
Well, that concludes the happiness meme. That was fun.

Pick your five favorite Takarasiennes (past or present), and cast them in your dream roles. It doesn’t matter how completely unfeasible these roles are, let your imagination run wild! I’ve stuck to Takarazuka and musicals in my answers, but feel free to go outside of that. (After all, Kiriyan once said that she’d love to play Jack Skellington ^^)
Gen's pointless top star meme!
Apr. 14th, 2008 05:23 pmGen's pointless top star meme!
Instructions: Below is a list (lovingly ripped off from TakaWiki) of top stars. Italicize the names of the stars you have ever seen in anything (including as an OG). Yes, you're allowed to cheat by looking them up on the Wiki if you can't remember what they've been in. Bold the stars for whom you have seen a show with them as top (No, Bow Halls don't count. Neither do TMP/TCA Specials, etc. Because I say so.) Feel free to add a word or two of comment if it's someone you particularly like, but no sonnets, please. Unless they're to Touko. Or you're a princess. When complete, amaze your friends and family with your vast knowledge/ignorance as a Takarazuka fan! Or not.
Edit: I'm stealing a page from
caithion and starring the ones I've seen live.
(Yes, people are in twice if they were top of more than one troupe. Too lazy to move them about.)
I'm counting any show that I've seen more then 10 minutes of :P
I have learned the following things:
1) My knowledge of hanagumi is pretty awful >_<
2) My knowledge of top stars before 1995 is also pretty bad. The only reason I think that there are any italicized or bolded at all is that I watched the first 20 minutes or so of the 70s version of Valencia no Atsui Hana.

The first half of that 100 questions meme
Jun. 12th, 2007 01:39 pmThis is actually so large that LJ isn't letting me post it at once. Here are the first fifty questions.
