That meme which has been going around...

1. First Takarazuka show you ever saw (clip or whole):
I think the first thing I saw a clip of was "Aoi Tori wo Sagashite" back during my senior year of college when someone did an honors presentation about Takarazuka.
2. Show that you most want to see revived:
Off the top of my head, I think El Halcon is amazing and I'd love for it to become one of those shows that gets done over and over. Then again, I'm not sure if it could be done without Touko.
3. Show that you never want to see revived:
I don't know about "never", but I don't see the need to have a new BeruBara every two years :P
4. Best otokoyaku role ever:
Off the top of my head, Tyrian from El Halcon. Really unusual since he was a dirty hero, and yet extremely fascinating. Some others that come to mind are Bill from MiiMai, Algernon from Ernest in Love, and Lucheni from Elisabeth.
5. Best musumeyaku role ever:
Elisabeth. Everyone has been saying this, but there's a very good reason for it. Sally from MiiMai is another good one.
6. Show you've seen the most, and how many times:
Live? I think I've seen Magician no Yuutsu five times including the shinjinkouen. I may end up seeing Singin' in the Rain five times too (right now I've seen it three and have tickets for one more performance. We'll see how it goes) On video? Probably Ernest in Love, but I'm not sure.
7. Show no one has seen but should:
The Second Life. I will be bitter until the day that Hankyu releases that show on DVD. Also Maihime. And Hokushou Kairi's version of "Bourbon Street Blues."
8. Show everyone has seen and shouldn't:
Uh...hmm. Can't think of a good answer. I wouldn't go as far as to say that BeruBara shouldn't be seen, but I don't think it should be held up as the absolute masterpiece of Takarazuka.
9. Role that you would most like to play:
Luigi Lucheni from Elisabeth...whoever is playing Lucheni always looks like they're having a lot of fun.
10. Work that you most want to see performed, and by whom:
I would love to see a version of Me and My Girl led by Hokushou Kairi, but I don't think that's going to happen since the show has just been performed and Micchan is now in soragumi. Another impossible one, but I think Kiriya Hiromu would make an amazing Roger in Rent.

Date: 2008-07-17 01:22 am (UTC)Numbers from the soundtrack show up in dinner shows with some regularity though; it seems the 'siennes themselves like it.

Date: 2008-08-02 08:51 am (UTC)It took me a while too before I made a Takarazuka journal, but I've really enjoyed having one. I hope your experience is the same!
ETA: I've made one or two memes, but I think most of them are things I've taken from other people.

I really do love the memes (it's taking me such a LOOONG time to finish though). Just, thank you.
I hope you don't mind if I friend you? I'm going to wait like a few days for your response. If you also don't say anything I'll friend you, if you have something against my friending you, please say so.
