*grumblegrumble*
Sep. 3rd, 2009 10:29 pmHonestly, I've never really bought into the whole "The young'un otokoyaku are taking over Takarazuka!" argument. In honkouen at least I've always thought that each generation has a few young upstarts. But the shinkos lately are getting a little ridiculous. A 94th is getting Kiriyan's role in the Last Play shinko???? Tamaki Ryou, apparently. I had to look up the name since I didn't immediately recognize the kanji.
I dunno, maybe this girl is actually really talented and completely deserving. The truth is I know nothing about her. But...there's a part of me that's grumpy and wants all of these young upstarts to wait their turn :P
I guess I'll be satisfied as long as Toshi (Uzuki Hayate) gets in a lead before she graduates from shinkos. I've been fond of her ever since she was a Sky Fairy in 2007-2008, and I'll be annoyed if she gets passed up. And that's the thing, really...the young ones still have plenty of time. Do they have to jump over the ones who are down to their last year of shinkos? Toshi does have Maya-san's role. Senka roles sometimes aren't as exciting, but if it's Maya-san it could be good <3333
It looks like Shizuku doesn't have a big shinko role since she's not among the roles that were released today. Speaking of musumeyaku, since that there's no top musumeyaku in tsukigumi, there's no musuemyaku shinko lead either. (I am so ready for this whole "no top musumeyaku" thing to be over :P)
It's interesting to see which honkouen roles have been cast with shinko counterparts at this point and which haven't. You would think that would indicate which ones will be major. (The ones that have been filled with shinko counterparts thus far are Asako, Kiriyan, Ahi, Sonoka, Morie, Ai-chan, Touka Yurino, Masaki, Shizuku, and Ranno Hana).
Oh, and Mirio in the shinko lead was kind of a no-brainer ^^;
