More yukigumi, plus some other things

I went back to Kimi wo Aishiteru/Mirroirs last night. This isn't really a review, but I have some notes anyway.
- I’m currently crushing on Kimu. I don’t know how she does it, but she’s just so incredibly energetic every moment she’s on the stage. Moreover, it’s really fun to watch her when she’s in the background.
- My current theory is Kimi wo Aishiteru=a really fluffy version of Rent. No, really, hear me out. They’re both about a group of poor artists in a struggle with the sellout ex-boyfriend of the bohemian heroine. Also, サーカス魂=La Vie Boheme. Both songs have a group of down and out artists rejecting the sold-out ex-boyfriend’s offer. There’s table dancing in both songs too. And, Filentes=a playboy version of Mark. Watching Kimu, I get the impression that underneath his playboy persona, Filentes is actually lonely.
- For those of you who have seen the show (stop reading if you don't want to be slightly spoiled), does the person who catches the bouquet at the end change every time? This time it was Kimu (which amuses me endlessly), but I could have sworn the other times I saw it’s been…Kaname, I think? And a random musumeyaku? Maybe Yamashina Ai? I want to say it changes, but I’m not sure.
- I accidentally reported in my initial review that “It Don’t Mean a Thing (If It Ain’t Got That Swing)” is used. I was wrong, instead it was “Sing Sing Sing.” Hey, I knew it was something that also got used in Jazzmania ;P
- Note related to the show, but I think the girls at the opera glass stand are starting to recognize me ^^;;; I think it’s already a lost cause with the Taka-an girls and the staff at the curry place in Chanter :D
In other news, there was a flyer for Singin’ in the Rain (not the final version, obviously). Ume-chan was still listed as the lead. I would guess that it was printed post-Ume’s accident, so knock on wood this means that she’s hopefully still going to be the musumeyaku lead. There was also a picture of Tani in the Don Lockwood coat (looking good ^^) as well as a couple of Tani and
