Finally, some nice soul was kind enough to post a set list for K Collection.
But for those of you too lazy to look at the website yourself, it seems like the set list in Tokyo was:
-Crazy For You medley ("Embraceable You", "But Not For Me", and "Nice Work If You Can Get It". I clearly fail as a musical theater fan by not knowing this show >_<)
-K Collection (original song)
-Thank You For the Music by ABBA (^^;;;;)
-Quando, Quando, Quando (apparently an Italian pop song and...I think it's also been sung in English? *shrug*)
-K Collection From Takarazuka:
-"It's De-Lovely" (I think this is, in Takarazuka terms at least, from the cut finale of A-"R"ex. Or has it shown up other places?)
-"Mononofu no Michi" from Osaka Samurai (!!!!!!!!!!!!! This song gave me chills when I saw it live, I'm really glad they chose it)
-"Will Be Good" (from Slapstick. It's sung to the melody of "Wig In a Box" from 'Hedwig and the Angry Inch.' No, I'm not kidding ^^;)
-One of the songs from Yume no Ukihashi
-Charade (Apparently this is the song that was used for the pair dance in most versions of "Jazzmania." Whew, thank you for saving me, Google!)
-That's Life (anyone know who this is by?)
-Mi Mancherai (apparently from the movie The Postman. I wonder if Kiriyan sings it in Japanese or Italian?)
-Comin' Home Baby (another one where I don't know the artist)
-California Dreamin'
-Ave Maria (!!!!!!!!!!)
-Caruso (we continue to fail at recognizing song names)
Encore 1: You Raise Me Up by Celtic Woman (I'm indifferent to the actual song, but I think Kiriyan could be amazing)
Encore 2: K Collection (encore)
In short, I'm very intrigued. I imagine this will eventually be released on DVD but who knows when. (Will Kiriyan please get that top star announcement one of these days?????) In the mean time I will very eagerly (and very impatiently) be waiting to see this show in one form or another.
