I tend to not like Heian Period and Asuka Period Nihonmono. They're just... really boring. But I love Shinsengumi and the Black Ships and I love Meiji politics. ;)
Anyway, if Osaka Samurai is anything like Namidabashi, Egaobashi (and I hear it's supposed to be a comedy too), be prepared to be dying of laughter. For some odd reason, there's nothing like a comedic Nihonmono for amazing slapstick. XD
Yeah, I saw an article on Nene getting the lead. *sigh* Looks like they're promoting her now. I have to admit, I'm not a huge fan. I like Remi a lot more ... she seems more interesting, while Nene seems a little too conventional. Is it all about appearances now, Hankyu? :/
