Things I have watched recently

Hankyu has given us no scandalous news recently, and I don't have anything to do while waiting for my disc to copy. In the mean time, I'm subjecting my friends list to scattered thoughts on a few shows I've been watching lately :P
1) Excalibur (Shizuki Asato/Hanafusa Mari)
What a cute show! This is exactly the kind of crack I love (Koike-sensei <3333). I can't believe it took me so long to watch it.Is there something wrong with me that I actually like the earlier Ohana better? Then again, I think I've seen all of two Wao/Hana shows, and neither of those were recent. Oh, and special love for Natsukawa-san's seductive villainess dancing in this show.
2) "Voy evolucinando Rika" (Shibuki Jun sayonara show)
RIka is awesome. It's just something about her 魅力 that gets me, the way she's so suave. But I was grumpy over the number of cuts on the video version of her sayonara show. I also get the impression that Rika wasn't as comfortable with a lot of the fandom parts of Takarazuka (her final Daigekijou irimachi and taidan speech in particular). Her independence and frankness is something I really admire about her, but it makes these kinds of things not quite as fun to watch. Comparatively, obviously I was still entertained. Anyway, the highlights were Rika's "Stay" and a dance number from Jazzmania.
I still want to see Shibuki Jun: The Last Day, since Bara no Fuuin is love, and so is Rika, really.
(Er...I have to admit that I fast forwarded through the interview parts for both this video and the next one. I was feeling impatient -_-;)
3) Mami's sayonara show (I can't remember the name and am too lazy to look it up)
I can't believe I've had this video for so long and hadn't watched it. There is Mami/Natsukawa-san love for Mami's final irimachi. Shiokaze Kou AND Tani got to play the priest in the Nova Bossa Nova bit. And then they did the bit from Luna where Mami's character crawls up from under the ground and asks everyone what they're looking at, and then the entire troupe breaks into Millenium Moon. Everyone runs by Mami and gives her a high-five. I'm not a huge fan of Mami's voice, but everything else about her makes up for it, and this video was so, so much fun to watch. This is the tsukigumi that I love.
And just in case the woman couldn't be any more of a ham, she throws some of her graduation roses to the crowd during her final demachi. It makes me so happy to watch her sayonara video and then look at her now, ten years later, and see her doing so well <3333
