Housekeeping stuff

This may not be interesting for anyone else except me, but I felt like posting anyway.

I think at the moment I'm going to stop buying new DVDs for a while.  I'm starting to accumulate a stack of stuff I haven't watched yet, plus I'll be getting a whole bunch in a trade soon.  Maybe most importantly, though, I'd like to conserve my money for seeing live shows.  In between club wear, the ochakai, and tickets, Mahoroba is going to cost me a pretty penny -_-;  Once I've gotten through everything I have, I'll start buying DVDs again.  And it's highly likely I may cave into want beforehand...I had to force myself out of Takarazuka-an and Quatre Reves respectively the other day to keep myself from buying "Sweet and Chic" and Mizugumi Elisabeth.

Stuff I need to watch/finish watching:
-Phantom (soragumi)
-Twelfth Night
-Buenos Aires no Kaze
-Orpheus in Spiral
-Prisoner of Zenda
-Elisabeth (soragumi)
-Rose of Versailles: Oscar and Andre (hoshigumi 2001 version)
-Four Colors music video

So uh, yeah, the list is a little ridiculous.  It's not reflection of any of the shows up there, it's just that I really need to be in the right  mood to put something on or I won't appreciate it.

I'm the same way. I have so many shows to watch/finish watching, thanks to our dear princess and my own impulsive buying; however, most nights I'm so exhausted after work. When I'm that tired I get cranky and frighteningly ADD, and I know I won't be able to concentrate on anything. I made a deal with myself that I will never watch Osa-san unless I'm content/aware/sane enough to truly appreciate her. That way I'll never take 'zuka for granted <3

Prisoner of Zenda is absolute love. All those little darlings in uniform, and Tatan being dastardly, it's fabulous. But yes, I totally understand the stacks of things waiting to be watched. I think I'm just now getting down to almost being through everything and we haven't gotten anything new since like May.

I originally got the shinjinkouen version because I wanted to see Kiriyan's lead. The show itself was interesting, so I got a copy of the Mami version on VHS that I saw for cheap at Takarazuka-an. I think it's next on my list of stuff to watch.

(I totally understand what you mean, though. I feel the same. Although I noticed when it comes to Mami the "appetite comes with the eating", i.e., when I just start watching I will be in the mood within minutes :P)

The nice thing about Mami shows is that I can often find them for cheap on VHS at Takarazuka-an. I've accumulated a lot of them that way.

I can relate to that. I have far too many shows that I have yet to finish or even start. I still need to watch the last few min of Paris Sora and all of Fancy Dance not to mention a stack of I think 15 other things...and then I have 2 DVDs on the way here ^^;; I'm slooooooooow.
