A few thoughts as I struggle not to fall asleep

Watched the 2006 TCA special last night.  It was okay and kept me entertained while I got some hand sewing work done, but generally wasn't my thing.

That being said, there were a few sections I liked, particularly when nearly everyone was on stage to sing "Joyful."  It was so cool to see, for example, Morie on stage at the same time as Touko.  And Kiriyan got to sing How to Succeed.

I have to say, though, somehow Nova Bossa Nova songs don't get old, or at least I still enjoy them.  Tom may have sung Nova Bossa Nova songs in every TCA special since she performed the show back in 1999, but she can certainly still sing "Sinner Man" very nicely.  (I also have a weakness for the version of Amour, Amour sung by Tom AND Mami in the 2007 special)

It's probably time for me to go to bed.

Oh, I wanted to watch that year's special for ages now, with it being Komu's last one to participate in, but somehow until now I couldn't get my hands on it. Maybe I should try again and watch it already ^^ Glad that you think it wasn't so bad.

Oh by the way, concerning the photos: I'm glad you still remember! ^__^ I think I sent you my address via LJ back then but that failed, as it seems, and then I forgot about it. But actually I'd still love to have them, if you are still willing to send them to me! Because, let's be honest, you can never have enough Micchan in your collection. <3 Could you give me your email address again?

Nova Bossa Nova is one of those show that need to be re-staged. Like, right now. They could make it Yuuhi's ohirome koen! (I know, I know. But, hey, a fanboy can dream =P)
